Learn through Feel & Ingrain Proper Fundamentals

The TGT can be shaped to reinforce any fundamental or fix any swing fault you’re struggling with. The TGT teaches feel with a multitude of settings designed to receive positive feedback on a correct swing or negative feedback on an incorrect swing.

With the Total Golf Trainer...No Swing Fault is Safe

Finally! A golf swing trainer that can fix virtually every single problem in your golf swing.

The Total Golf Trainer is truly the “swiss army knife” of training aids. In fact, because it is such a versatile training device, it can easily replace several training devices already on the market due to its adjustability and ease of use (written & video directions included). It’s the only training device on the market that can help you eliminate every flaw in your golf swing.

Simply attach it to the end of any golf club with a standard size grip, and you’re ready to go. We even provide a library of videos lead by PGA Professionals Martin Hall, Mike Bender, and Warren Bottke so that you can learn more about all of the different ways you can utilize the Total Golf Trainer to become a more consistent ball striker and lower your scores.

Product highlights:

  • Positive/negative feedback. You’ll learn how to “feel” the correct positions throughout the golf swing so you know what a great swing feels like (a proven approach to improvement).

  • You’ll master the takeaway, perfect your club position at the top, learn how to drop the club into the slot, and unload mercilessly on the golf ball with a powerful release.

  • The Total Golf Trainer teaches you how to control the clubface and get into a perfect position at the moment of truth; impact.

  • You can hit shots on the driving range or practice green area with the Total Golf Trainer, or you can use it at home to practice your full swing, pitching and chipping. It’s the multipurpose training device you need to fix your faults and hit all the shots you need to shoot lower scores!

 Total Golf Trainer

The Total Golf Trainer is the swiss army knife of training devices. With 12 unique settings and 3 different shapes, we challenge you to find a swing fault this device won’t correct. It can help you find the perfect positions in your backswing, at the top, during your downswing, and through impact.

It’s very simple to use (we include plenty of training videos with PGA professionals as well for all of our products), and can help fix a wide variety of faults in your full swing, pitching, and chipping.

The Total Golf Trainer is ideal for the inconsistent golfer who knows he or she needs to improve, but isn’t sure which training device on the market would benefit them this most. By our estimate, this device easily replaces 15 or more training aids that are currently on the market.

1)Club Face Control

The club face controls how much the golf ball curves. The TGT has multiple settings to teach how to square the clubface at impact and hit a consistent draw or fade.

The TGT has multiple settings that teach a correct takeaway by creating the proper amount of hinge and body rotation on the back swing.

3)Downswing Path

The TGT provides specific settings that will force you to keep the club on the correct path and find “the slot” every time. By having settings that you visually can see, and that provide touch and no touch feedback, you’ll improve your downswing in no time.

The moment of truth. It’s no secret most golfers are searching for a better feel at impact. The TGT has settings that teach a perfect impact position when chipping, pitching or hitting full shots. The positive and negative settings let you choose which setting is best for you.

The power and shot shape rely heavily on extension and release of the club and body. Certain TGT settings can be used to improve your extension after impact so you can release the club perfectly for a more consistent ball flight.

1)Flat Shoulder Plane

This is when the shoulders get too flat in the backswing, which can cause a wide variety of swing faults. The TGT has settings that give you a visual point of reference to keep your shoulders on plane so you can make better swings.

This is one of the most common faults in golf that results in very inconsistent ball-striking. The TGT provides settings that will eliminate the flip and provide more solid chips, better distance control on pitch shots, and more distance on your full shots.

3)Poor Body Motion

The body is the engine of the swing. The TGT teaches you the correct body sequence so you can generate effortless power and improve your consistency.

4)Chicken Wing

The chicken wing is pulling of the arms into the body at and after impact, which causes you to top the ball and hit big pulls and slices. The TGT provides settings with feedback you can feel to eliminate the chicken wing from your game forever.

5)Over the Top

The most common line said by your playing partners is “you came over that one”. The TGT will allow you to take control of your game, learn how to get the club into the slot on the downswing and deliver more power to the back of the ball at impact.

Settings/Product Inserts/How to use:

Total Golf Trainer:

Straight Setting

The Straight setting out of the top port is one of the most versatile with the TGT. You can use the long or short rod depending on whether you’re short, tall, or anywhere in between. This setting can be used for chipping, pitching and hitting full shots. Here’s how it works: At address, the yellow ball points away from your body towards the target. If the ball or rod touches your body this is negative feedback. If you make a swing and the ball or rod doesn’t touch you then this is positive feedback that you want to repeat.

“L” Shape Setting

The small rod “L” Shape setting is the best setting for your full swing, but can be used for chipping and pitching as well. The player will bend the rod, keeping a little space between the rod and lead back of the hand. The goal is to maintain the same distance from the rod throughout the shot. If you contact the rod it gives negative feedback. If the space remains the same throughout the swing and doesn’t touch then this is positive feedback, and shows you’re on the right rack.

“U” shape setting

The “U” Shape setting can be used out of the lead or trail port and is used for chipping, pitching and full shots. While in the lead port, the “U” shape is mainly used for keeping the rod from contacting your lead arm. The trail setting “U” shape is mainly used for maintaining contact on the trail arm. You can adjust the rod to create more hinge and hit longer shots by bending the rod towards the shaft. If you bend the rod more towards your forearm it produces less hinge for shorter shots.

Dual Setting

You can also use what we call the “long straight/short bent” dual setting. This setting reinforces a chip shot with little to no wrist movement. The long rod comes out of the top port in a straight setting. This rod should not contact the body while chipping. The short rod comes out of the trail port and is bent to touch the trail wrist. The consistent touch of the short rod on the trail and non touch of the long rod will result in a much improved chipping motion.

The good news is that I really enjoy practicing!

For me, that is a key piece as I am trying hard to change my swing to where I keep my hands in front and have my left arm straight at impact. Using the trainer in the “half fold forward, then top turned to the left” setup works great as I try to keep it against my left wrist through impact. I have been a relatively low handicapper for most of my adult life (lowest handicap at a 6 for awhile). However, I never had any lessons until recently when I went to the Mike Bender golf academy. Of course now I have things to work on. My swing is a bit “handsy” and my left arm breaks down at impact (chicken wing). I am using the tgt to train my hand and left arm position to be better through impact. The tgt is helpful and so are your videos. Now I just need to get the “feel” of the correct swing, which is harder than I thought it would be. The good news is that I really enjoy practicing! Thanks again, Joe
