Gary Player is a Hall of Fame player and is recognized as one of the top international golfers of all time. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Player is one of the most recognized athletes in the world and at age 81 has been called the fittest athlete in the world.

Player has many accomplishments including 9 major championships along with an additional 6 majors won on the PGA Champions Tour for golfers over the age of 50. Player won his first major at age 29 in 1965 at the US Open and is the only non-USA players to win the Career Grand Slam, all four major golf championships. Player won a total of 165 professional tournaments on six different continents over the course of six decades.

Player has remained active in the golf industry with business interests such as golf course design, licensing, apparel and memorabilia. Player has long participated in the opening tee shot at The Masters in Augusta National along with Jack Nicklaus and the late Arnold Palmer. ESPN the Magazine features Player in their annual Body issue even at the age of 81 due to his amazing level of fitness.
