How Golf Supports a Healthy Lifestyle and Helps Children with Autism

Golf has many health-related benefits that improve the quality of players’ lives. Fresh air and the mental challenge of golf reduces stress. Walking approximately 10,000 steps outside supports a healthier heart. Golf provides excellent exercise which leads to improved sleep. And golf is a sport you can play your entire life in almost every country worldwide.

Another great health benefit from the sport of golf is for children with autism. The experiences kids have on a golf course allows them to reshape their inner conversations and perceptions of interacting with other people and the environment around them. Social skills are often a challenge for autistic children and golf is a way to gather kids and families together to participate in a sport they can grow and mature from. Many local courses and clubs have programs that allow children with autism to participate in games and learn the sport while interacting with fellow players and coaches.

DaVinci Sports Golf division is proud to support numerous charitable events where kids with autism and learning disabilities can improve their lives.
